Core Aeration helps to reduce soil compaction by creating pockets to aid in the uptake of oxygen, water, and nutrients.  This is overall one of the best things you can do for your grass and one of the most beneficial services to combat drought conditions.  Aeration should be done in the springtime and/or in the early fall. 

Power raking is a process of removing excess thatch from your lawn. It involves using a walk-behind heavy-duty machine with a series of rotating blades to cut in and lift thatch that builds up over time.  Power raking is an excellent way of removing dead debris and crust that accumulates over the winter months.  This process includes a yard cleanup and a mow with a bagging to take away all thatch and debris.  This should be done one time in the spring to bring back the grass after a long winter.  Power raking is deeper and more aggressive than dethatching, which is a lighter process that just combs the grass and removes a thin layer on top.

We attach tines to the front of a mower which comb the grass before mowing and bagging.  This is similar to power raking but not as deep of a process.  This is done once in the springtime to clean up matted grass and leaves that have been under the snow.  

We are certified through the Department of Agriculture to apply a balanced liquid fertilizer with a broadleaf weed control to turf grass.  Our Simplot products (both fertilizer and herbicide) are the best in the industry.  Based on the diagnosis of your lawn we will create a custom program to keep your grass as healthy as possible.  

Weeding of landscaped flower beds as needed.  This can include spring cleanup, cutting back dead growth, and shaping shrubs.

Once spring bloom is over we can trim any size of shrubs or hedges.

With our 60" bobcat brush hog, we can efficiently knock down unwanted brush and overgrowth.
